Two Player Evening – 29th April
Continuing on from our Shelf of Shame the next Themed Evening is just around the corner! We will be running our first ever Two Player Evening!
This evening is all about games that are specifically designed for exactly two players — not just games that work well at two, but games that are made for head-to-head play.
If you’re bringing games along, please try to bring 2-player games that play in 30 minutes or less, so they work well within the rotation format and allow everyone to try several different games over the course of the evening.
Speed-Gaming Format and Friendly Competition
We’ll be running a fun speed-dating style rotation, where you’ll play a series of short 2-player games against different opponents throughout the night.
It’s a great way to meet other players and discover new games.
We’ll also be keeping track of wins during the rotations, so you can see how you stack up against the rest of the table!
Other Options Available
If competitive rotations aren’t your thing, don’t worry, our usual quick games table will still be running.
There will also be space for other games if you’d prefer to play something different.
Whether you’re coming to compete, discover new 2-player gems, or just enjoy some games with friends, everyone is welcome.
Just remember: this night is about games designed specifically for two players — not games that are simply “best at two players”.
